In May 2019, the Brandon Clinic launched the patient portal which is a secure online website that gives you access to appointments and personal health information. The portal is accessible to you anywhere you have an internet connection.
A few points to note:
Not all physicians use the patient portal.
The portal only works if you have a e-mail address on your file. If you provide us with an e-mail address you can be sent appointment reminders and messages from your physician if they use the portal.
The portal is only accessible once a message or reminder has been initiated by the clinic or physician.
You can go back and look at these messages at any time.
Online booking is also a part of the patient portal. This feature is coming soon.
The portal is secure and requires you to login using your 9 digit PHIN number(or your provincial health card number if you have coverage OUTSIDE of Manitoba), and your date of birth. If these two pieces of identification are entered incorrectly, you will not be able to access the portal.
If you are having trouble logging into the patient portal, please varify that you are entering your 9 digit PHIN number with NO SPACES and that your date of birth is entered in the format shown in the photo. If you are still having trouble, please call your physicians office to make sure that your health information is up to date.
